QRide Assist provides QR code powered vehicle experiences for automotive dealerships and their shoppers. This Privacy Policy describes how QRide Assist collects, uses, and shares information when you interact with our websites, marketing pages, dealership QR experiences, and the QRide Assist platform (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Dealership information (organization name, location, rooftop count)
  • Messages, support requests, or form submissions
  • Vehicle inquiry information submitted through QR code experiences

When shoppers submit a vehicle inquiry through a QR code experience or vehicle page, the information provided is sent directly to the dealership associated with that vehicle so the dealership can respond to the inquiry.

Information We Collect Automatically

  • Usage data such as pages viewed, actions taken, and QR scan events
  • Device information including IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to maintain functionality and analyze usage

How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Facilitate vehicle inquiries between shoppers and dealerships
  • Respond to support requests and communications
  • Analyze usage trends and platform performance
  • Send operational communications such as service notifications, account updates, and security alerts

SMS Notifications

Dealership User Alerts

QRide Assist sends SMS alerts to registered dealership users and their employees for operational purposes. Messages may include:

  • QR scan alerts when a shopper scans a vehicle QR code
  • Help request alerts when a shopper submits a vehicle inquiry

Phone numbers are collected during account registration or when dealership administrators add users to their dealership account. Consent is collected through an unchecked opt-in checkbox that must be selected before saving a phone number.

These SMS alerts are used only for operational purposes and are not used for marketing or promotional messages.

Vehicle Shopper Contact Consent

Shoppers who provide a phone number through a QR code vehicle inquiry form and actively check the SMS consent checkbox agree to receive SMS text messages and phone calls from the dealership regarding their vehicle inquiry. The shopper's contact information is passed to the dealership so the dealership can communicate directly with the customer. QRide Assist itself does not send text messages to shoppers. Consent is collected through an unchecked opt-in checkbox that must be actively selected before a phone number can be submitted. Providing a phone number and agreeing to SMS is optional; shoppers may instead submit a vehicle inquiry using only an email address.

Message frequency varies based on platform activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or contact support at support@qrideassist.com.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to use the QRide Assist platform.

Vehicle Shopper Communications

When a shopper submits a lead or inquiry through a QR code vehicle experience or related form, the contact information provided is transmitted to the dealership associated with that vehicle so the dealership can respond.

Where a shopper has provided an email address, the dealership may contact the shopper by email regarding their inquiry. Where a shopper has provided a phone number and actively checked the SMS consent checkbox, the dealership may also contact the shopper by phone call or SMS text message regarding their inquiry. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply depending on the shopper's mobile carrier.

QRide Assist acts as a technology platform facilitating the connection between shoppers and dealerships and does not control dealership communication practices.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information.

Information may be shared with:

  • Dealerships associated with vehicle inquiries submitted through QRide experiences
  • Service providers that help operate the Services (hosting, analytics, communications infrastructure)
  • Authorities when required to comply with applicable laws or protect the rights and safety of our users or the public

A list of current service providers can be provided upon request.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Maintain functionality of the Services
  • Remember preferences
  • Understand usage patterns and performance
